June 28, 2010 CAETS Executive Committee Meeting, Copenhagen

1.   The President welcomed all.  The meetings during June 28 – 30 were reviewed. The proposed agenda was accepted. 

2.   The Summary Minutes of the March 3, 2010, Executive Committee Meeting was approved.

3.   The Secretary noted that all but one member academy have paid 2010 dues.  CAETS expenses to date for FY 2010 are within the approved budget.

4.   The Executive Committee noted the Audit Committee Report and supported the proposed FY 2011 Budget and FY2012 Dues structure.   The reports from the CIO and CCM were noted.  The summary of the Committee’s review of the member academies paying dues at the $1,000 level was discussed; it was agreed to revisit this issue each year. The Committee noted the other Council agenda #5 topics.

5.   The President-elect reviewed the proposed theme of Risk Assessment for the 2011 Convocation, to be held in Mexico City during June 27 – July 1. The Committee recommends to the Board that the Council approve this general theme. The Committee discussed the need to focus on a few specific risk issues and looks forward to further discussions in the afternoon Board meeting and the Council meeting two days later.

6.    The SATW, Switzerland, proposal for CAETS meetings in 2012 was noted and its approval by the Council was recommended. IVA, Sweden, agreed to host the CAETS 2014 meetings.

7.  Items # 6 through 17 of the Council meeting agenda were briefly noted. 

8.   The meeting adjourned at 13:10
